Short answer: Damp Mould Leak is a leak detection specialist, not a plumbing contractor. We locate the leak, confirm which pipe or fitting is failing, and document the least disruptive access route. Your plumber, your insurer’s contractor or our team then carries out the repair against that scope. Because we are not selling the repair, our diagnosis is independent and our reports are accepted for insurance claims.

We work non-invasively first: moisture mapping to understand the spread, thermal imaging to pick up temperature differences along hot and cold runs, acoustic listening equipment and tracer gas where appropriate, and pressure testing to confirm which circuit is losing water. Only when the source is pinned down do we recommend opening a floor or wall, and we specify exactly where. That keeps trace and access costs down and gives your insurer a clear, evidenced claim.
